HEART

The police were already there at the murder site. There was a crowd of people gathered up around Ryan’s body. His parents were trying to wake him up from his forever sleep, they didn’t want to believe that he had already left the human world and wasn’t likely to come back.

When the FBI arrived, the first thing they noticed was the tattoo on his wrist that read “Heart”.I was among the crowd, staring at the lifeless body. I wish I’d been there earlier. It would have made all difference. So all I can tell you now is why he was murdered.

Ryan was like the most popular living thing in Abbey high school. He had the biggest house, the coolest car and the most expensive phone and the three most beautiful cats .But his life wasn’t perfect. He also was the school bully.He bullied people lower to him in his hierarchy . When he torture them, the look on their faces entertained him.

Just when the lunch bell rang, normally everyone including Ryan would talk in class for about ten minutesand then go for lunch, but this time he came out early.None had arrived in the cafeteria yet,except this one girl.She was alone just staring into her food.Her hair was let down.He went and sat right across her.He saw her emerald eyes when she looked at him shyly.Her skin was pale although Ryan thought she was pretty.

“Hey, are you new here I haven’t seen you here before?”asked Ryan.

The girl looked right into Ryan eyes and said.”Yeah, my name is Bella.I just moved here.”

Ryan saw his friends entering the cafeteria.All of them were laughing softly at Ryan trying to not let him realise that they were laughing at him.

When the cafeteria was completely crowded, Ryan looked at where Bella was sitting.She just disappeared, instead of her there were Kindergarden girls sitting there.Ryan walked to the table where the girls sat.He found a red colored ribbon fallen down.He took that ribbon and wrapped it around the girl who had the big bow on her hair sitting at the far corner. She struggled to untangle herself.He laughed as the girl cried for help her other friends were to scared to help her.

When Ryan came back home,his cats would be there to greet him.But today they didn’t.He went up to his room and saw that two of his cats huddled in a corner it looked like there were scared of him.Just as he put his bag on his chair he saw one of his cat wrapped up in red colored ribbon, it was obvious that he had been strangled to death.

Next day,when the lunch bell rang Ryan went to the cafeteria early again to talk to Bella.

Bella was there again.

“Why to you come early than anyone?”asked Ryan.

“If I come later then I get bullied by the popular kids”she replied with sadness in her tone.

All Ryan could say was “oh” with guilt.

He talked to her for ten minuted until his friends came in grinning at him.He immediately got up and rushed toward his friends.When he turned around,Bella wasn’t there.

After lunch Ryan and his friends went to a class which had small children running around screaming each others names . Ryan had to prove to his friends that he still was the same and that talking to the Bella didn’t change him . He picked up a boy and hung him in the class closet upside down and watched him plead to put him down.

When Ryan reached home that day this time to his cats didn’t come down . When he went upstairs he saw only one of his cats in the corner of the room scared.When he opened his closet his heartbeat stopped.His cat hung dead upside down.It took him a minute to realise that whatever he did to bully the children in school the exact same thing happpened to his cats.Only someone who hated him would do such thing

Next day one hour before lunch,Ryan was walking with his friends when a third grader boy walked into him,this made Ryan so furious that he picked up the little scared boy by his neck and held him up high, he dropped the boy and walked right over him carrying a stone heart with him.

When Ryan went to the cafeteria at the same time like he always did . But this time Bella wasn’t there .When his friends entered the cafeteria , Ryan went up to them to ask them whether they happened to know where the girl he used to talk to in lunch was seen anywhere . They all laughed at him and said you just sit there and talk to your self there is no one with you . We just see you sitting there and talking to yourself .

“There was a girl her name was Bella,she’s the one I used to talk to.” Ryan said in a high voice.

Then one of them said,”There was a girl named Bella in this school she used to like you a lot.But when you got to know to started bulling her.That night she killed herself because of you.You broke her ”HEART”.”

Ryan was to shocked to swallow that piece of information thrown right at him.

When he want home that day. He directly went to his room.When he opened the door, right in front of his stood Bella holding his cat by its neck.she drops the cat and walks over it and towars Ryan.

The police had got a call from an unknown caller that a dead body was found.

Ryan’s murder case couldn’t ever get solved.The only evidence found was the tattoo on his wrist , ”HEART”.

Bella was mentally unstable when she was alive that what made her do much more horrific things.I wish I was there I could have saved at least one life, I know I could have.Only if Bella had let me live.
